Our financial advisors will go over all the financing options for which you may qualify. Our goal is to help you find an option that works best for you.
Fast-track your Second Career application
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Second Career will be fast-tracking applications for people who meet the following criteria:
- You were laid off on or after March 1, 2020
- You have a high school education or less, or were laid off from an occupation requiring no more than a high school education and job specific training, such as food and beverage servers, flight attendants, and retail salespersons
- You were laid off from an industry hit hard by the pandemic, such as hospitality and food services, transportation and warehousing or wholesale and retail trade
- You want to train for a career in demand in local in local communities or provincial priority areas
Monthly Payment Plan
With a monthly payment plan, your tuition costs are divided into monthly payments throughout the program.
Student Line of Credit
A student line of credit is available through your financial institution and can help you pay for expenses related to post-secondary education. Contact us for more information.
Lifelong Learning Program (LLP)
The Canada Revenue Agency Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP) allows you to withdraw amounts from your RRSP’s to help pay for your education.
Registered Education Saving Plan (RESP)
Funds from a RESP can help finance your education at CanNorth College
Employer and Union Sponsored Education Programs
Many employers and unions offer financial assistance programs. We can assist you in finding financing options that may be available through your employer and/or union.
CanNorth College accepts the following methods of payment:
- Pre-authorized bank withdrawals (for monthly payment plans)
- Pre-authorized credit card payments (for monthly payment plans)
- Visa, Mastercard and American Express
- Debit Cards, cheques, money orders and cash
